Esse Skincare 's Clarifying Oil is unique and contains four strains of live Lactobacillus probiotics with over 1 billion colony forming units per ml. These can multiply on your skin, helping to displace acne-causing bacteria. Lactobacillus makes a healthy contribution to the skin microbiome and these strains show significant reductions in inflammation and improvement of wound healing.

The oil also contains provitamin D , which regulates the immune response and improves barrier function, and Bakuchiol , which reduces the growth of certain bad bacteria and regulates sebum production. Bakuchiol is a retinoid alternative without the nasty side effects and completely safe to use for all skin types.

Apply twice a day and follow with Clarifying Serum for best results. There is no need to apply a moisturizer over it.
